I bought the first Revolver BX212 amp made; it is amazing. With 2 rectifier tubes installed I get huge clean tones full of highs and lows and everything in between.
At low volumes she is very full and chimey, turn it all the way up and you have huge natural distorion very loud, very smooth. Somtimes I run the amp with only one rectifier tube which allows ealier breakup and distortion at a lower volume. It’s almost like having to seperate amplifiers. Getting any kind of tone you need is no problem you have a treble and a bass very articulate controls that work amazing, the presence is a true power section presence that really brightens up the circuit, if you have a need for it. The allesandro pots are built for Kings, no noise what so ever when your adjusting, and man are they smooth and stable feeling. Being this is the best guitar amp I have ever owned period, it also sounded amzing when i recorded my bass tracks through it. I run a huge music store in downtown Phoenix Arizona, I have had the privelege of playing many high end tube amps ( JMI, HiWatt, Soldano, Bedrock, Orange, Dailey, Bogner, Diesel) this amp kills them all, If it didn’t why would i have bought it. If you want a true vintage Fender sounding amp this is it. I own 2 Revolver amps now (the other being a tremolux). These amps are the best; I plan on buying more.
