The Revolver Tone Lab

Have you tried everything and just can’t seem to get that killer tone that you keep hearing in your head?  The Revolver Tone Lab is your answer.  We’re the only ones doing it and it works like this…

Bring your amp and your favorite guitar by the shop to audition your sound. 

First we listen to the amp. Then we open it and look at your tone stack. We record your tone stack capacitor and resistor values and enter the values into a Tone Stack Calculator. This will give us a printable, graphical representation of your tone stack. Just like the example graph below. We will enter other component values into the calculator to see what kind of changes to expect.

You tell us what tone you’re looking for and we make changes to your tube amp in a live setting.  With each change, you fire it back up and dig into your favorite riff.  Once you’re hearing the tone you’ve been looking for, that’s it – you’re done.  It’s that simple!
